At 9:00 on March 16th, 2018, Prof. Kang Hongpu, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief scientist of China Coal Science and Industry Group Co., Ltd., was invited to our school for academic exchange and report. He made a wonderful academic report titled " Surrounding Rock Control Technology of Coal Mine Roadway and Its Application". The report was hosted by Prof. Liu Quansheng.

            In the report, Prof. Kang Hongpu combined with his 20 years of research practices, and systematically expounded the research results of the direction of China's coal mine roadway surrounding rock control from the aspects of basic testing, basic theory, innovative technology, promotion and transformation:(1) Bolt support technology of roadway surrounding rock,(2) Hydraulic fracturing pressure relief technology of roadway surrounding rock, (3) Prospect of roadway support design.

          After the report, Prof. Kang and the teachers and students of our school exchanged passionately and answered questions that everyone cares about, the unique academic insight of Prof. Kang has given a lot of income to everyone.
