Design of Underground Building Structure

 

Design of Underground Building Structure is a compulsory course, which make students to master or know the basic principles and design methods of the four design models of the underground structure, and know the clear design differences between the underground building structure and the ground building structure. The students are also requested to propose the appropriate design model and reasonable structural design scheme to design a safe, economical and reasonable underground structure, according to the different underground media environment and function.

The course contents are divided into six parts, namely, the introduction, the underground structure experience analogy design model, the underground load structure design model, the continuum design model of underground structure, the convergence constraint design model of underground structure, the design principle and method of modern support structure.
