Water Supply and Drainage Engineering Structure 

The purpose of this course is to teach students the material properties, the mechanical properties and design calculation methods of various components and the reinforcement structure of concrete structure. Through this course, students will be familiar with the basic principles of concrete structure, with the general capacity of concrete structure design, and to lay the foundation for following the upcoming courses and graduation design. Through the study of this course, students are required to familiarize themselves with the mechanical properties of concrete and steel materials, the force characteristics of basic components and their design & calculation methods and the structural requirements. Students are also expected to understand the reservoir design and calculation. Apart from that, students are taught to equip themselves with the basic skills to carry out structural modeling, layout, design and calculation, and also to understand the future development trend of reinforced concrete structure.
