Curriculum Description:


Program Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures 


Teaching objectives:

The course mainly teaches students to carry out the static and dynamic analysis of the bar structure by using the finite element method, and deal with the load combination and reinforcement calculation of the program design methods and preparation techniques, according to the relevant regulations of the current structural design specifications. Through studying the course, students are expected to master the principles and methods of the structural analysis program and the debugging skills. In addition, the ability to initially prepare some special structural analysis procedures is also highlighted, which could lay a solid foundation for the structural design aided by the smooth use of computer.

 

Main teaching contents:

(1) the program principle of the analysis of structural framework: the basic principle of the finite element method of the rod structure; element stiffness matrix; the overall stiffness matrix of the structure; solid end reaction and load array; triangular decomposition method for solving linear equations; the internal force calculation of rod end force and sectional graph; dynamic analysis and seismic action calculation; the combination of the load effect and the reinforcement of the beam and column; calculation of seismic bearing capacity of beam-column section. 

(2) the internal force analysis program design of the frame structure: introduction of "FSAP" program; program design of data input; program design of the constraint condition; the programming of the unit stiffness matrix formation; the programming of the structural stiffness matrix formation; the formation of the overall load column vector programming; programming of linear equations; programming of rod end force and section internal force calculation; program design of dynamic analysis.

(3) program design of load combination and reinforcement calculation: the overall design of load combination and reinforcement calculation program; program design of static load combination (including crane load combination, wind load combination and general load combination); the program design of seismic combination; the program design for bearing bending moment reduction.

(4) "FSAP" program instructions, engineering examples and procedures debugging techniques: the fill-in method of data input and the output of calculation results; the various examples using "FSAP" program to calculate the structure and calculate the main plant structure of thermal power plants; the development steps of structure analysis program and its debugging methods and techniques.
