School of Civil Engineering has developed academic exchange and cooperative relations with relevant universities and research institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, etc., under which a lot of scholars and experts go to visit, give lectures and conduct cooperative studies each year. We, jointly with University of Manchester and University of Nottingham, cultivate undergraduates and graduate students, and also implement the "3 +1 +1 Years " program to grant Bachelor-Master degrees and "2 +2 Years" training project to award Bachelor degrees with University of Dundee UK.

The PhD candidates could be trained jointly with the City University of Hong Kong. PhD candidates are encouraged and supported to attend high-level international academic conferences, present and publish the paper each year. We are committed to improving the education quality and highlighting the education philosophy of “creation, innovation and entrepreneurship”, aims to cultivate the comprehensive talents with “solid knowledge, proficient skills, global view and strong innovation”.

Meanwhile, a lot of prospective foreign students come to study in SCE from Yemen, Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea, Africa……
